| Robert Parmelee began his successful graphic design and silk-screening business, Parmelee of Durham, in 1983. In 2004, Bob founded Preservation Designs to combine his long-standing love of history with his profession. Since the tender age of six, Bob has played in several Connecticut fife & drum corps,
performing the stirring music now synonymous with the American Revolution. The unique flag designs and ever-changing symbols of that tumultuous period appealed to both Bob's interest in history and to his love of design. Now Bob has added his own unique flair to these original images, translating history into wearable art on his I-Mac computer.
